Role and Responsibilities Summary As an Associate Consultant, you will be leading and supporting project teams, leveraging your expertise in life sciences data to generate insights that shape commercial and sales strategies. You will be working with various physician, patient and account level data sources and apply your knowledge on data enablement and management, business intelligence, sales force effectiveness – IC design, sales force sizing and structure, alignments, targeting, more to empower commercial, HQ and field teams. Key responsibilities include: Strong understanding of various life sciences data sources (sales – buy and bill, retail and non-retail, specialty pharmacy, HCP/HCO calls, non-personal promotion) and drug distribution to uncover insights related to performance, account/HCP uptake, execution and productivity Design complex incentive compensation plans, perform territory alignments, field force sizing and structure, and segmentation and targeting strategies Conduct exploratory and targeted data analyses using tools like Excel-VBA, SQL, and Python to support decision-making across commercial and medical strategies Translate complex data insights into compelling visualizations and presentations using tools such as Power BI, Tableau, and Excel, ensuring clear communication of sales insights and analytics to stakeholders Enable data-driven decision-making by designing and maintaining data pipelines, ensuring data quality, and supporting business intelligence initiatives Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including data engineering, domain experts, and client stakeholders, to deliver tailored solutions and actionable recommendations Participate in client meetings, prepare deliverables, provide status updates, and document processes to ensure seamless project delivery Contribute to thought leadership and internal knowledge assets in all supported areas What You Will Bring 2–6 years of experience in analytics or consulting roles in the healthcare, life sciences, or med-tech industry. Hands-on experience working with various life sciences data sources such as 867/852, DDD, Xponent, Compass, retail and non-retail, specialty pharmacy, execution, and NPP Strong technical skills – Excel-VBA, SQL and proficiency in Power BI, Tableau for visualization Educational background: MBA , MSc , or equivalent with a Bachelor's or advanced degree in Engineering , Life Sciences , Pharmacy , Statistics , or a related quantitative discipline. Strong problem-solving, communication, and storytelling skills. Exposure to agile project methodologies and the ability to manage tasks across multiple priorities. A proactive mindset, intellectual curiosity, and a passion for improving patient outcomes through data-driven decision-making.
