The Export Sales Manager will be responsible for developing and executing sales strategies to drive revenue growth in the Canadian, US, European, and other markets. The successful candidate will have a proven track record in international sales, with a focus on metals and mining. This role requires a strategic thinker who can build and maintain strong relationships with key clients, distributors, and partners. Key Responsibilities Market Research and Analysis: Conduct thorough market research to identify trends, opportunities, and potential competitors in the Canadian, US, and other markets. Analyze customer needs and preferences to tailor sales strategies accordingly. Sales Strategy Development Develop and implement comprehensive sales strategies to achieve revenue and market share goals. Customer Relationship Management Build and maintain strong relationships with key customers, distributors, and strategic partners. Regularly engage with existing clients to ensure satisfaction and identify additional business opportunities. Sales Forecasting And Reporting Prepare accurate sales forecasts and reports to provide insights into market performance and sales trends. Present regular updates to senior management on sales achievements and challenges. International Trade Compliance Ensure compliance with international trade regulations and standards for the export of ropes. Stay informed about changes in trade policies that may impact business operations. Team Leadership And Collaboration Lead and motivate the export sales team to achieve individual and collective sales targets. Collaborate with other departments, such as production and logistics, to ensure seamless order fulfillment. Qualifications Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, or a related field. MBA is a plus. Proven experience in international sales, particularly in minerals or related manufacturing industry. Strong understanding of the Canadian, US, and UK markets, with a successful track record in these regions. Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills. Good command over English Familiarity with export regulations and compliance. Strategic thinking and problem-solving skills. Leadership experience with a demonstrated ability to lead and inspire a sales team.
