Acoustic Specialist

As an Acoustic Specialist at Senvion India, you will play a crucial role in analyzing, designing, and validating the acoustic performance of wind turbines to ensure the highest level of energy generation at the lowest LCOE. Your expertise in Acoustic engineering, with 8+ years of experience, will be instrumental in meeting contractual obligations to customers. Key Responsibilities: - Conduct detailed acoustic and tonality analysis and modeling of noise emissions from wind turbine machine heads. - Perform tonality analysis to identify and mitigate tonal noise components, following standards such as IEC 61400-11. - Develop and implement noise mitigation strategies to comply with regulatory requirements in vibro-acoustics. - Collaborate with design and engineering teams to incorporate acoustic and tonality considerations into machine head design and development. - Carry out field measurements and data analysis to validate acoustic models and evaluate noise impact. - Prepare technical reports and documentation for both internal and external stakeholders. - Stay abreast of the latest advancements in acoustics, tonality analysis, and wind turbine technologies. - Provide technical guidance and mentorship to junior engineers and team members. - Continuously benchmark competition's noise curves and testing methodologies to ensure the technology roadmap stays ahead of the competition.
