Job Title: Accountant

Job Description :

We are looking for an experienced accountant who can independently manage daily accounting operations, GST and TDS compliance, bank reconciliations, and financial reporting. The ideal candidate should have strong knowledge of Tally Prime and experience handling high-volume transactions in a trading or wholesale business.

Key Responsibilities :

• Maintain and review books of accounts in Tally Prime, including purchase, sales, expenses, receipts, payments, and journal entries.
• Manage bank reconciliation, cash books, vendor/customer ledgers, and outstanding balances.
• Prepare and file GST returns, including GSTR-1 and GSTR-3B, and reconcile input tax credit with GSTR-2B.
• Handle TDS deductions, deposits, quarterly returns, and related documentation.
• Manage GST invoices, e-way bills, credit notes, and debit notes.
• Monitor accounts receivable and payable and follow up on outstanding payments.
• Prepare MIS reports, expense summaries, outstanding reports, and financial statements using MS Excel or Google Sheets.
• Coordinate with the Chartered Accountant for GST, TDS, audits, and statutory compliance.
• Support month-end and year-end accounting closure.
• Review junior accounting staff's work and ensure accurate entries and supporting documents.
• Identify and resolve accounting discrepancies and compliance issues.

Required Skills :

• Strong working knowledge of Tally Prime and accounting principles.
• Hands-on experience with GST returns, TDS compliance, and bank reconciliation.
• Knowledge of GSTR-1, GSTR-3B, and GSTR-2B reconciliation.
• Good proficiency in MS Excel and Google Sheets.
• Ability to independently manage accounts and coordinate with Chartered Accountants.
• Strong attention to detail, organizational skills, and problem-solving abilities.
• Proficiency in spoken and written Hindi is mandatory.

Eligibility Criteria :

• Qualification: B.Com mandatory; M.Com preferred.
• Experience: 3–5 years of relevant accounting experience.
• Preferred Industry: Trading, wholesale, logistics, or other transaction-intensive businesses.
• Job Type: Full-Time, Permanent.

Pay: ₹30,000.00 - ₹35,000.00 per month
