Accounts & Audit Assistant

Key Responsibilities

• End-to-End Accounts Finalization:
• Independently handle accounts finalization from scratch up to the final balance sheet for multiple clients across various sectors.
• Scrutinize general ledgers, trial balances, and verify all debtor, creditor, and bank balances.
• Prepare final financial statements, including Balance Sheet, Profit & Loss Account, and supporting schedules.
• Identify and resolve discrepancies, accounting mismatches, and closing balance variances independently.

• Bookkeeping & Accounting:
• Supervise and record day-to-day entries for sales, purchases, bank, cash, and journals.
• Perform routine bank reconciliations and inter-company account adjustments.
• Taxation & Periodic Compliance:
• Compute and file periodic GST returns and reconcile monthly purchase data.
• Calculate monthly TDS liabilities, ensure timely payments, and file periodic returns.
• Assist in computing taxable income and filing income tax returns for individuals, firms, and companies.
• Process monthly payroll deductions and statutory filings.
• Audit Support:
• Support internal, statutory, and tax audit engagements independently.
• Liaise directly with clients to request information, resolve audit queries, and close files.

Candidate Requirements

• Education: Graduate / Post-Graduate in Commerce (B.Com / M.Com) or intermediate professional qualification (Semi-Qualified CA).
• Experience: 4+ years of proven hands-on experience in a CA firm or accounting environment.
• Core Competencies:
• Proven track record of independently finalizing client accounts without close supervision.
• Thorough command of Tally/Zoho Books or other accounting softwares
• Advanced MS Excel skills (lookups, data filtering, formulas, pivot tables).
• Strong working familiarity with government compliance and tax portals.

Pay: ₹20,000.00 - ₹40,000.00 per month
