Accounting Supervisor I

As the Legal Entity/Country AR or AP Manager at the company, your role will involve overseeing and managing the team members responsible for these functions. You will also be tasked with overseeing specific projects, ensuring their timely completion and maintaining high-quality work standards. Your key responsibilities will include: - Monitoring and improving key internal controls to detect errors and maintain proper segregation of duties. - Producing and monitoring key performance indicators (KPIs) for the AR or AP process. - Ensuring the accuracy of information integrated into the accounting application. - Managing pending accounts to ensure proper and timely processing. - Continuously enhancing and communicating invoice processing procedures within the department and with other accounting and non-accounting departments. - Assisting in testing, training, and communicating changes as part of the ongoing evaluation of the AR or AP process. - Supervising staff directly or indirectly, conducting performance reviews, implementing training programs, and developing career paths. To qualify for this role, you need to have: - A Bachelor's Degree in Accounting or its equivalent. - 3 to 5 years of experience in accounts processing and Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) systems. - Fluency in English. - Knowledge of Accounting standards and principles, including month-end closing processes. - The ability to quickly adapt to changes and thrive in a fast-paced environment.
