Accounting Manager

You will be responsible for the end-to-end accounting processes at APM Terminals as an Accounting Manager. Your main focus will be on daily accounting, book close, and reporting. You will work closely with the Terminal Head of Finance (HoF) and engage with STP and OTC domain process leaders as needed to ensure well-maintained books of accounts. Key Responsibilities: - Act as a right hand for Terminal HoF, supporting strategies and maintaining a close relationship - Improve short- and long-term performance through relevant, accurate, and timely reporting - Continuously review KPIs and monitor daily accounting and book-close activities - Implement Standardization of ATR processes across entities/Terminal - Work closely with the business to identify opportunities to improve processes - Ensure timely and accurate monthly book close and reporting - Review and submission of Balance Sheet reconciliations on a timely manner - Certification in OneStream, financial and non-financial reporting - Lead and support Statutory reporting for entity location - Support and lead the ATR Accountants to ensure quality in accounting delivery - Ensure Process Compliance by performing regular Gemba and process confirmations - Implement standardization of ATR processes for the Terminal/entity responsible - Ensure that any exceptions to the standard processes are well documented and signed off Qualifications Required: - Minimum 9-10 years experience in ATR domain with preferable experience of at least 3-4 years as Accounting Manager/FNA Manager/ATR controller - Strong people leadership skills, experience leading a team - Qualified Chartered Accountant with good understanding of IFRS - Expert domain knowledge of ATR processes and subledgers - Excellent stakeholder management and collaboration skills - Experience in delivering results through others - Good English written and verbal communication skills About the Company: Maersk is committed to a diverse and inclusive workplace, welcoming applicants from all backgrounds.
