Accountant Specialist

As an Accountant Specialist at Stavian's Mumbai branch, your role will involve the following responsibilities: - **Bank Reconciliations**: - Reconcile bank statements, monitor cash books, and resolve any discrepancies. - **Financial Reporting**: - Prepare monthly profit and loss statements, balance sheets, and cash flow statements along with other relevant accounting schedules. - **Tax Compliance**: - Ensure entities comply with India tax regulations, assist in the preparation of tax returns, and GST returns. - **Audit Support**: - Assist in preparing documentation to support external and internal audits. - **Ad-hoc tasks**: - Perform any ad-hoc analysis and tasks as assigned by immediate superiors. ### Requirements: - **Experiences**: - Mid-level candidates with a minimum of 3 years of relevant accounting working experience. - **Skills**: - Proficiency in Microsoft Office Word and Excel. - Experience in SAP, Xero, Tally accounting software preferred. - **Qualification**: - Bachelor's degree in accounting or other professional accounting qualification with a working knowledge of India FRS/IFRS standards. - **Others**: - Ability to maintain confidentiality and act with discretion. - Good working attitude. - Willingness to learn and adapt. - Meticulous, organized with high attention to details.
