Accountant

Job Summary

We are looking for a responsible and detail-oriented Accountant to manage day-to-day accounting operations, maintain accurate financial records, and assist with financial reporting, GST compliance, and banking activities.

Key Responsibilities

• Maintain day-to-day accounting transactions, including sales, purchases, receipts, and payments.
• Prepare and maintain sales invoices, purchase bills, vouchers, and other accounting documents.
• Handle accounting software such as Tally Prime and/or Zoho Books.
• Maintain cash books, bank books, and general ledgers.
• Perform bank reconciliation and verify bank transactions.
• Monitor customer outstanding balances and follow up on overdue payments.
• Maintain supplier accounts and track payments due.
• Prepare monthly financial reports, including Profit & Loss statements and cash flow statements.
• Maintain proper documentation and ensure accuracy of financial records.
• Coordinate with management, customers, vendors, and auditors when required.

Qualifications

• B.Com, M.Com, or a relevant degree in Accounting or Finance.
• Working knowledge of accounting principles and bookkeeping.
• Proficiency in MS Excel and accounting software such as Tally Prime.
• Good communication, organisational, and analytical skills.

Experience

• 1–3 years of relevant accounting experience preferred.
• Freshers with good accounting knowledge may also apply, depending on the company's requirements.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: ₹15,000.00 - ₹20,000.00 per month
