Job Description – Accountant
SGI Group of Institutions, Bengaluru

Key Responsibilities:

Maintain daily accounts, cash books, ledgers, and financial records.
Manage student fee collections, issue receipts, and track pending fees.
Maintain records of college, hostel, and other operational expenses.
Reconcile cash, bank transactions, and UPI payments daily.
Prepare daily collection, expenditure, and outstanding fee reports for the Admin Head.
Handle staff payroll, vendor payments, and bills with proper approval.
Issue bonafide certificates, education loan letters, fee structure letters, and other student-related financial documents as per authorised procedures.
Maintain proper records of all certificates and letters issued to students.
Assist in GST, TDS, taxation, and audit-related work.
Maintain proper documentation and confidentiality of financial records.
Report discrepancies and unauthorised transactions immediately.
Ensure all financial transactions are accurate, transparent, and properly documented.

Reporting To: Admin Head / Management

Qualification: B.Com/M.Com with CA Inter knowledge of accounting, Tally, and MS Excel.

Important: No refunds, fee concessions, or payments should be processed without management approval.

Pay: ₹12,000.00 - ₹20,000.00 per month
