Job Description – Accountant(For Hotel)

Key Responsibilities:

Handle the hotel's day-to-day accounting work and maintain accurate financial records.
Manage daily cash entries, petty cash, bank transactions, and expense records.
Prepare and check bills, invoices, payment receipts, and vouchers.
Keep track of daily sales and revenue generated from rooms, restaurants, banquets, and other hotel services.
Match daily collections with cash, card payments, and online transactions to ensure everything is accounted for.
Maintain vendor records, process payments, and follow up on outstanding bills.
Handle GST, TDS, and other applicable tax-related documentation and compliance.
Prepare monthly reports covering income, expenses, and overall financial performance.
Coordinate with the hotel management and different departments regarding accounts, payments, and expenses.
Keep all financial documents organized and ensure records are ready for audits whenever required.

Requirements:

B.Com or a relevant qualification in Accounting or Finance.
Previous experience in hotel accounting is preferred.
Good knowledge of Tally, MS Excel, and accounting software.
Basic understanding of GST, TDS, invoicing, and bank reconciliation.
Good attention to detail, organizational skills, and honesty.
Ability to manage multiple tasks and complete work within deadlines.

Pay: ₹30,000.00 - ₹40,000.00 per month
