Job Description

As an Accountant at our organization, you will be responsible for maintaining accurate financial records, ensuring compliance with regulations, and contributing to the overall financial health. Your primary responsibilities will include: - Bookkeeping: - Maintain up-to-date and accurate financial records using Tally software. - Record and classify financial transactions in a timely manner. - Financial Reporting: - Generate and analyze financial statements, including profit and loss statements and balance sheets. - Prepare various financial reports for management. - Tax Compliance: - Ensure compliance with Indian tax regulations. - Assist in the preparation and filing of tax returns. - Audit Support: - Collaborate with internal and external auditors during audits. - Provide necessary documentation and explanations for audit inquiries. - Budgeting and Forecasting: - Contribute to the budgeting and forecasting processes. - Analyze financial data to provide insights for decision-making. - Financial Analysis: - Conduct variance analysis and identify areas for financial improvement. - Assist in financial planning and strategic decision-making. - Vendor Management: - Maintain relationships with vendors and ensure accurate processing of invoices. - Compliance: - Stay updated on accounting standards and ensure compliance. - Implement internal controls to safeguard financial assets. Qualifications: - Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field. - Professional certification (e.g., CA, ACCA) is a plus. - Extensive experience with Tally, including the latest version. - Strong understanding of Indian accounting principles and tax regulations. Skills: - Proficient in MS Excel and other relevant accounting software. - Attention to detail and accuracy in data entry. - Excellent communication and interpersonal skills. - Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a team. Experience: - Minimum of 3 years of experience in accounting, preferably in a construction firm with a focus on Tally usage.
