Job Summary

Khethari Agritech Private Limited is looking for a detail-oriented and experienced Accountant to manage day-to-day accounting operations, GST and ITR compliance, financial records, vendor payments, and reconciliations. The ideal candidate should have practical experience with ERPNext or similar ERP systems, strong accounting knowledge, and the ability to maintain accurate financial documentation.

Key Responsibilities

• Manage end-to-end Accounts Payable (AP) and Accounts Receivable (AR).
• Handle daily accounting transactions, invoicing, collections, vendor payments, and expense records.
• Maintain customer and vendor ledgers and perform bank, ledger, and balance reconciliations.
• Prepare, verify, and file GST returns, ensuring accurate reconciliation and timely compliance.
• Handle Income Tax Return (ITR) filing support and related tax compliance documentation.
• Generate and manage E-Way Bills and ensure compliance with applicable regulations.
• Record and maintain financial transactions using ERPNext or similar ERP software.
• Maintain accurate books of accounts and ensure proper documentation of financial transactions.
• Assist with internal and external audits and provide supporting financial records when required.
• Prepare account statements, financial reports, and other records as required by management.

Required Skills and Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Commerce (B.Com) or a relevant accounting or finance qualification.
• 2–3 years of practical experience in accounting and finance operations.
• Hands-on knowledge of GST returns, GST reconciliation, and related compliance.
• Experience with Income Tax Return (ITR) filing and tax compliance documentation.
• Practical experience with ERPNext or similar ERP systems.
• Knowledge of E-Way Bill generation and applicable compliance requirements.
• Good working knowledge of MS Excel and accounting software.
• Strong understanding of Accounts Payable, Accounts Receivable, bookkeeping, and reconciliation.
• Accuracy, attention to detail, time management, and the ability to meet statutory deadlines.

Preferred Candidate Profile

• Candidates with experience managing end-to-end accounting operations independently will be preferred.
• Experience in maintaining vendor accounts, customer accounts, and statutory compliance records is desirable.
• Candidates who can join immediately or at short notice are preferred.
