Accountant

Jay Propertiez is looking for a detail-oriented and responsible Accountant with 1–2 years of experience and good working knowledge of Tally. The candidate will be responsible for maintaining financial records, handling daily accounting transactions, preparing reports, and supporting the company's financial operations.

Key Responsibilities

• Maintain daily accounting records and financial transactions using Tally.
• Handle sales, purchase, payment, and receipt entries.
• Manage cash book, bank book, and ledger accounts.
• Perform bank reconciliation and verify financial records.
• Prepare invoices, vouchers, and payment records.
• Maintain accounts payable and receivable records.
• Assist in preparing monthly financial statements and reports.
• Maintain proper documentation of bills, receipts, and expenses.
• Support GST-related entries, documentation, and filing preparation.
• Coordinate with management and other departments regarding financial matters.

Requirements

• B.Com or a relevant degree in Commerce or Accounting.
• 1–2 years of experience in accounting.
• Good working knowledge of Tally Prime or Tally ERP.
• Basic knowledge of GST, TDS, and bank reconciliation.
• Proficiency in MS Excel and basic computer applications.
• Good attention to detail, numerical accuracy, and organizational skills.
• Ability to maintain confidentiality and meet deadlines.

Preferred Skills

• Practical experience in daily accounting operations.
• Knowledge of GST invoicing and statutory documentation.
• Good communication and time-management skills.
