Job Summary

We are looking for an experienced and detail-oriented Accountant with a minimum of 4 years of experience in Accounts Payable, Accounts Receivable, GST and TDS filing, bank reconciliation, vendor payments, and financial data management.

Key Responsibilities

• Manage day-to-day accounting operations and maintain accurate financial records.
• Handle Accounts Payable (AP) and Accounts Receivable (AR), including invoices, outstanding payments, and customer collections.
• Prepare and process vendor payments within the approved timelines.
• Perform regular bank reconciliation and resolve discrepancies.
• Prepare, verify, and file GST returns and TDS returns within the applicable deadlines.
• Maintain GST and TDS records, supporting documents, and statutory compliance data.
• Create and maintain accounting data, vendor records, customer records, and financial entries in the accounting system.
• Verify invoices, bills, debit notes, credit notes, and expense claims.
• Monitor vendor balances, customer outstanding amounts, and payment schedules.
• Assist in ledger scrutiny, month-end closing, and preparation of financial reports.
• Maintain proper documentation for audits and tax assessments.
• Coordinate with vendors, customers, banks, and internal departments regarding accounting and payment-related matters.

Candidate Requirements

• Minimum 4 years of relevant experience in accounting and finance.
• Strong knowledge of Accounts Payable and Accounts Receivable.
• Practical experience in GST and TDS return filing and compliance.
• Good understanding of bank reconciliation and vendor payment processing.
• Experience in accounting data creation, entry, verification, and maintenance.
• Proficiency in MS Excel and accounting software such as Tally ERP/Tally Prime.
• Strong numerical, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
• Good attention to detail, accuracy, and time management.
