Job Description

Manage day-to-day accounting and financial operations of the school.
Supervise school fees, collections, receivables and payment records.
Manage accounts payable, vendor payments and expense processing.
Maintain accurate books of accounts and financial records.
Handle bank reconciliation, cash management and petty cash.
Prepare monthly, quarterly and annual financial reports for management.
Ensure timely GST, TDS, PF, PT and other statutory compliances, as applicable.
Manage payroll coordination, salary sheets and statutory deductions.
Verify invoices, bills, purchase orders and supporting documents.
Monitor budgets, expenses and cost control across departments/branches.
Coordinate with auditors, consultants, banks and statutory authorities.
Supervise the Accounts Executive/Accountants and allocate daily work.
Ensure proper accounting entries in Tally/ERP and maintain supporting documentation.
Track outstanding fees and coordinate with the admissions/front-office team for follow-ups.
Provide financial data and MIS reports to the Management/Director/Trustee.
Ensure compliance with school financial policies and internal controls.
