About the Role

We are looking for a detail-oriented and organized Accounts Executive with hands-on experience in both Accounts Payable (AP) and Accounts Receivable (AR). The candidate will be responsible for invoicing, payment processing, reconciliations, outstanding follow-ups, vendor and customer accounts, and maintaining accurate financial records.

Key Responsibilities

Accounts Receivable (AR)

• Manage customer invoices and payment receipts.
• Record and update customer payment entries.
• Track outstanding payments and conduct regular follow-ups.
• Prepare and maintain Ageing & Outstanding Reports.
• Perform customer and ledger reconciliation.
• Resolve billing and payment-related discrepancies.

Accounts Payable (AP)

• Process and verify vendor invoices.
• Record vendor payments and expenses.
• Maintain vendor accounts and perform vendor reconciliation.
• Verify supporting documents before processing payments.
• Track upcoming and outstanding vendor payments.
• Coordinate with vendors regarding payment-related queries.

General Accounting & Reporting

• Perform Bank Reconciliation (BRS) and ledger reconciliation.
• Maintain accurate accounting records and documentation.
• Assist in preparing MIS reports.
• Handle payment and receipt entries.
• Verify expenses and payment-related documents.
• Manage petty cash and maintain proper records.
• Coordinate with internal teams, customers, and vendors for accounts-related matters.

Requirements

• 1–3 years of experience in Accounts / Finance.
• Hands-on knowledge of both Accounts Payable and Accounts Receivable.
• Good understanding of invoicing, payments, receipts, and reconciliation.
• Proficiency in MS Excel.
• Basic to good knowledge of Tally or accounting software.
• Good communication and follow-up skills.
• Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
• Ability to manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines.

Preferred Experience

• Candidates from Travel, Tourism, OTA, BPO, or service-based industries will be preferred.
• Knowledge of AP, AR, BRS, vendor reconciliation, customer reconciliation, ledger maintenance, and ageing reports will be an advantage.
