Accountant

Key Responsibilities:

• Financial Recordkeeping:
• Maintain and update financial records in ERPNEXT / Tally.
• Ensure accurate and timely data entry for all transactions, including sales, purchases, payment receipts and expenses.
• Reconciliation:
• Reconcile supplies versus sales for all retail shops regularly.
• Investigate and resolve discrepancies to maintain data accuracy.
• Supplier Payment
• Expenses
• Shop-wise Expense Management:
• Record and categorize expenses incurred by each retail shop.
• Monitor and control costs to ensure adherence to budgets.
• Profitability Analysis:
• Analyze sales and expense data to calculate the profitability of each retail shop.
• Prepare detailed profitability reports and present them to the management team.
• Accounts Payable & Receivable:
• Manage supplier payments and customer collections through ERPNEXT and Tally.
• Monitor and follow up on outstanding balances.
• Compliance & Taxation:
• Ensure compliance with statutory requirements, including GST and TDS filings.
• Maintain documentation for audits and regulatory submissions.
• Reporting & Insights:
• Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reports, highlighting key performance metrics.
• Provide actionable insights to management for decision-making, focusing on store-wise performance.
• Inventory Management:
• Track inventory movements and costs across retail shops.
• Reconcile inventory data with sales and supplies for accurate reporting.
• Budgeting & Forecasting:
• Assist in preparing budgets and sales forecasts.
• Identify trends and provide recommendations to improve financial performance.
• Process Improvement:
• Streamline processes between ERPNEXT and Tally for efficiency.
• Propose and implement improvements in accounting practices.

Pay: ₹18,000.00 - ₹22,000.00 per month
