Job Summary

We are looking for a skilled and detail-oriented Accountant with experience in GST, Tally, taxation, and general accounting activities. The candidate will be responsible for maintaining accurate financial records, handling statutory compliance, managing invoices, and supporting the overall accounts and finance operations of the company.

Key Roles & Responsibilities

• Maintain day-to-day accounting transactions using Tally ERP 9 / Tally Prime.
• Handle GST-related activities, including GSTR-1, GSTR-3B, GST reconciliation, and return preparation.
• Prepare and maintain sales invoices, purchase bills, debit notes, and credit notes.
• Manage accounts payable and accounts receivable.
• Perform bank reconciliation and ledger reconciliation.
• Maintain purchase, sales, cash, bank, journal, and general ledger entries.
• Verify supplier invoices, customer bills, and supporting documents.
• Handle TDS calculations, deductions, payments, and return preparation.
• Assist in monthly, quarterly, and annual financial closing activities.
• Maintain records related to GST, TDS, and other applicable statutory compliances.
• Monitor outstanding payments and receivables and coordinate with customers and suppliers.
• Maintain proper documentation of vouchers, bills, invoices, and financial records.
• Assist in preparing financial statements, MIS reports, and expense reports.
• Coordinate with auditors, consultants, banks, and internal departments as required.
• Ensure accuracy of accounting records and timely completion of assigned tasks.

Required Skills & Qualifications

• B.Com / M.Com or an equivalent qualification in Accounting or Finance.
• 3–6 years of relevant experience in accounting, preferably in a manufacturing company.
• Strong working knowledge of Tally ERP 9 / Tally Prime and MS Excel.
• Practical knowledge of GST returns, GST reconciliation, and TDS.
• Understanding of accounting principles, taxation, and statutory compliance.
• Experience in handling purchase and sales accounting, bank reconciliation, and ledger scrutiny.
• Good analytical, numerical, and problem-solving skills.
• Strong attention to detail and the ability to meet deadlines.
• Good communication and coordination skills.

Preferred Candidate Profile

• Candidates with experience in chemical, manufacturing, or industrial companies will be preferred.
• Must be responsible, organized, and capable of independently handling day-to-day accounting activities.
• Candidates should have practical knowledge of GST documentation and accounting compliance.

Pay: ₹30,000.00 - ₹40,000.00 per month
