Job Description

Role & responsibilities 1. Download daily bank statements and ensure accurate entry of payments and receipts into the accounting system. 2. Monitor and ensure that all transactions are recorded and classified correctly. 3. Process daily RTGS (Real-Time Gross Settlement) payments and make timely payments for supplies as per the companys payment schedule (15th and 30th of each month). 4. Ensure that all payments are processed in a timely manner, meeting financial obligations. 5. Record all daily purchase transactions, ensuring that purchase invoices are processed correctly and efficiently in the system. 6. Ensure that the purchase entries are aligned with company policies and financial regulations. 7. Record daily cash transactions and prepare journal vouchers (JV) entries. 8. Ensure all cash-related transactions are accurately recorded and in compliance with company standards. 9. Ensure accurate and timely entries for employee salaries, Provident Fund (PF), Employee State Insurance Corporation (ESIC), and Professional Tax (PT). 10. Make sure all payroll deductions are accurate and are in line with statutory requirements. 11. Record individual receipt payments and transfer entries as per financial records. 12. Ensure that each transaction is properly documented, and any discrepancies are resolved promptly. 13. Respond to emails and calls regarding payment status and inquiries. 14. Provide updates to internal and external stakeholders regarding the status of payments and receipts. 15. Follow up with debtors to ensure timely receipt of payments.
