Job Description

Role & responsibilities

1. Accounting & Bookkeeping

  • Maintain day-to-day accounting records (vouchers, invoices, receipts, payments).
  • Record financial transactions in accounting software (Tally/ERP/SAP etc.).
  • Manage accounts payable & receivable.

2. Financial Reporting

  • Prepare monthly/quarterly financial statements (P&L, Balance Sheet, Cash Flow).
  • Assist in budget preparation and expense tracking.
  • Support auditors with data and documentation.

3. Compliance & Taxation

  • Ensure compliance with GST, TDS, Income Tax, PF, ESIC, etc.
  • Prepare and file statutory returns within deadlines.
  • Maintain proper documentation for audits and inspections.

4. Bank & Cash Management

  • Handle bank reconciliations, fund transfers, and payment follow-ups.
  • Manage petty cash and cash flow.
  • Track outstanding payments and coordinate collections.

5. Coordination & Support

  • Work with internal teams for expense approvals and vendor payments.
  • Support management with MIS reports and financial analysis.
  • Liaise with banks, auditors, and regulatory authorities.
