As an ABAP Developer with 6-8 years of experience (with a minimum of 3+ years in SAP BTP / S/4HANA Public Cloud), you will play a crucial role in developing, enhancing, and maintaining extensions, integrations, and automation solutions within Clean Core principles. Your responsibilities will include: - Developing and maintaining custom extensions using RAP/CAP and ABAP RESTful Programming Model on SAP BTP. - Implementing side-by-side extensions leveraging BTP services, BPA, Integration Suite, and Event Mesh. - Supporting and enhancing S/4HANA Public Cloud objects using In-App and Extensibility options. - Building and managing integrations between SAP Public Cloud and 3rd-party systems (nearly 100 active interfaces). - Collaborating with BPA (Bot Process Automation) and iRPA teams to streamline and automate key business processes. - Ensuring compliance with Clean Core principles by avoiding direct modifications to standard objects. - Working closely with functional and integration teams to analyze requirements and design scalable solutions. - Performing technical reviews, optimization, and performance tuning for BTP and ABAP developments. The technical skills required for this role include: - Strong proficiency in ABAP on Cloud, RAP, CAP, OData, and Core Data Services (CDS). - Experience with SAP BTP services (Connectivity, Destination, Workflow, BPA, Integration Suite). - Familiarity with SAP Event Mesh, API Management, and SAP Cloud SDK. - Hands-on experience with In-App extensibility tools in S/4HANA Public Cloud (Key User Extensibility, Custom Business Objects, Custom Logic). - Understanding of Integration patterns (REST, SOAP, OData, iFlows). - Basic knowledge of BTP Security (Roles, Destinations, XSUAA). - Exposure to SAP Build Process Automation (BPA) is an added advantage. - Knowledge of CI/CD setup for ABAP Cloud and BTP deployments. Your soft skills should include excellent communication and collaboration abilities, the capability to work in a fast-paced, multi-integration digital landscape, a strong problem-solving mindset with a focus on innovation and scalability, and being self-driven with ownership for end-to-end delivery.
