As an ABAP Developer with Classic BOPF and Transportation Management experience, your role will involve the following key responsibilities: - ABAP Development: Design, develop, and maintain custom ABAP programs, reports, and interfaces to meet business requirements. - BOPF Implementation: Utilize the Classic BOPF framework to create and manage business objects, ensuring efficient and robust application performance. - Transportation Management: Develop and support solutions within the SAP TM module, including freight order management, transportation planning, and execution. - Technical Design: Create detailed technical designs and documentation based on functional requirements and specifications. - Code Optimization: Conduct performance tuning and optimization of ABAP code to ensure high performance and reliability. - System Integration: Integrate SAP TM with other SAP modules and external systems, ensuring seamless data flow and process efficiency. - Troubleshooting: Provide advanced troubleshooting and debugging support for complex issues within the SAP landscape. - Collaboration: Work closely with functional consultants, business analysts, and other stakeholders to deliver high-quality solutions that meet business needs. - Upgrades and Enhancements: Participate in system upgrades, patching, and enhancements to keep the SAP environment up-to-date and aligned with industry best practices. - Training and Mentoring: Share knowledge and provide guidance to junior developers and team members, fostering a collaborative and growth-oriented environment. In terms of qualifications, you should possess the following skills and qualifications: - Experience: Minimum of 5 years of ABAP development experience with a focus on Classic BOPF and SAP Transportation Management. - Technical Proficiency: - Strong expertise in ABAP programming, including Object-Oriented ABAP (OO-ABAP). - In-depth knowledge of Classic BOPF framework. - Experience with SAP Transportation Management (TM) module. - Familiarity with SAP enhancement techniques such as BAdIs, user exits, and enhancement spots. - Analytical Skills: Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to analyze complex business requirements to develop effective technical solutions. - Communication: Strong verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to convey technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders. - Project Management: Ability to manage multiple tasks and projects simultaneously, ensuring timely delivery and quality output. - Education: Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field (or equivalent work experience).
