ABAP BTP Cloud Developer

As an ABAP Developer with 6-8 years of experience, including a minimum of 3+ years in SAP BTP / S/4HANA Public Cloud, your role will focus on developing, enhancing, and maintaining extensions, integrations, and automation solutions within the Clean Core principles. You will work in Gurgaon on a full-time basis from the office. Key Responsibilities: - Develop and maintain custom extensions using RAP/CAP and ABAP RESTful Programming Model on SAP BTP. - Implement side-by-side extensions leveraging BTP services, BPA, Integration Suite, and Event Mesh. - Support and enhance S/4HANA Public Cloud objects using In-App and Extensibility options. - Build and manage integrations between SAP Public Cloud and 3rd-party systems (nearly 100 active interfaces). - Collaborate with BPA (Bot Process Automation) and iRPA teams to streamline and automate key business processes. - Ensure compliance with Clean Core principles, avoiding direct modifications to standard objects. - Work closely with functional and integration teams to analyze requirements and design scalable solutions. - Perform technical reviews, optimization, and performance tuning for BTP and ABAP developments. Technical Skills Required: - Strong proficiency in ABAP on Cloud, RAP, CAP, OData, and Core Data Services (CDS). - Experience with SAP BTP services (Connectivity, Destination, Workflow, BPA, Integration Suite). - Familiarity with SAP Event Mesh, API Management, and SAP Cloud SDK. - Hands-on with In-App extensibility tools in S/4HANA Public Cloud (Key User Extensibility, Custom Business Objects, Custom Logic). - Understanding of Integration patterns (REST, SOAP, OData, iFlows). - Basic knowledge of BTP Security (Roles, Destinations, XSUAA). - Exposure to SAP Build Process Automation (BPA) is an added advantage. - Knowledge of CI/CD setup for ABAP Cloud and BTP deployments. Soft Skills: - Excellent communication and collaboration skills. - Ability to work in a fast-paced, multi-integration digital landscape. - Strong problem-solving mindset with a focus on innovation and scalability. - Self-driven with ownership for end-to-end delivery.
