Role Summary As a Business Development Executive you will be the front-line driver of revenue growth. You’ll identify opportunities, nurture leads, build relationships with prospects, present tailored solutions, and close deals. This role is ideal for a proactive, target-driven individual who can combine consultative selling with an understanding of digital marketing services. Key Responsibilities Lead generation & outreach Research and identify target markets, verticals and high-potential prospects. Generate leads via LinkedIn, email campaigns, cold calling, referrals and networking. Maintain and expand prospect lists; qualify inbound & outbound leads. Sales process & pipeline management Manage CRM (HubSpot/Zoho/Google Sheets) — update pipeline, tasks, and follow-ups daily. Conduct discovery calls to understand client pain points and budget. Prepare proposals, customised presentations and quotes. Client engagement & conversion Run product/service demos and pitch meetings (virtual & on-site). Negotiate commercial terms and close deals. Ensure smooth handover to operations/project teams post-sale. Strategy & reporting Work with marketing to design targeted outreach & campaigns. Track KPIs: meetings booked, proposals sent, conversion rate, MRR/ARR, pipeline value. Provide weekly sales reports and insights; recommend adjustments to strategy. Relationship building & retention Maintain long-term relationships; uncover cross-sell/up-sell opportunities. Ensure client satisfaction and coordinate with delivery teams for successful onboarding. Required Qualifications Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, Management, or related field (preferred). 1–4 years of experience in B2B sales, business development, or agency sales (fresher with strong aptitude may be considered). Demonstrable history of meeting or exceeding sales targets. Essential Skills & Tools Strong communication & presentation skills (English & Hindi). Consultative selling mindset; ability to map client needs to service packages. Comfortable with cold outreach (calls, emails, LinkedIn). Familiarity with digital marketing services: SEO, PPC, Social Media, Web Dev, & Performance Marketing. CRM experience (HubSpot/Zoho/Pipedrive) and MS Excel / Google Sheets for tracking. Basic proposal writing and pricing skills. Time management, resilience, and strong follow-up discipline. Preferred / Nice-to-Have Experience selling digital services or working inside a digital agency. Network in local business communities (Bhilwara / Rajasthan) or specific verticals. Experience with bid/procurement processes for larger contracts. KPIs & Performance Expectations Monthly/quarterly targets for qualified leads, proposals, and closed revenue. SLA for first response to inquiries (e.g., within 24 hours). Maintain pipeline coverage ratio (e.g., 3–6x of monthly target). Client NPS / satisfaction in first 30/60 days post-onboarding.
