The Plant In-Charge is responsible for overseeing the entire daily operation of the manufacturing unit. This role involves end-to-end management, from raw material procurement to final product dispatch, ensuring production targets are met with high quality and within budget. Key Responsibilities: Production Planning: Create daily, weekly, and monthly production schedules to meet sales demand. Optimize mix ratios (Fly ash, Cement, Sand/Dust, Aggregate) to ensure product strength while managing costs. Ensure the plant runs at optimum capacity to maximize output (bricks/pavers per shift). Team Management: Supervise machine operators, helpers, and laborers. Manage shift timings, attendance, and worker discipline. Train new staff on machine usage and safety protocols. Inventory & Logistics: Monitor stock levels of raw materials (Fly ash, Cement, Gypsum/Lime, Grit) and coordinate timely reordering. Oversee the curing process (water curing) to ensure bricks/blocks achieve required strength before dispatch. Manage finished goods inventory and coordinate with the sales team for dispatch. Maintenance & Quality Control: Schedule preventative maintenance for hydraulic presses, pan mixers, and conveyor belts to minimize downtime. Conduct regular quality checks on dimensions, compressive strength, and finishing of bricks and pavers. Troubleshoot technical issues immediately to prevent production stoppages. Reporting: Maintain daily production logs (raw material consumption vs. output). Report daily expenses, labor wages, and production efficiency to the owner/director. Job Types: Full-time, Permanent Pay: ₹9,500.00 - ₹16,000.00 per month Work Location: In person
The Machine Maintenance Engineer is responsible for minimizing downtime and maximizing the lifespan of plant machinery. This role involves a mix of mechanical, electrical, and hydraulic maintenance. You will execute preventative maintenance schedules and perform emergency repairs on hydraulic presses, pan mixers, conveyor belts, and batching plants. Key Responsibilities: Preventative Maintenance (PPM): Develop and execute a weekly/monthly maintenance schedule for all plant machinery. Regularly inspect hydraulic power packs, cylinders, valves, and pumps to prevent leakage and pressure drops. Monitor wear and tear on critical parts (e.g., mixer blades, mold liners, conveyor rollers) and replace them proactively. Breakdown & Repair: Respond immediately to machine breakdowns to minimize production loss. Diagnose faults in hydraulic systems (e.g., oil overheating, slow ram movement) and electrical panels (PLC logic, sensors, contactors). Perform welding, cutting, and fabrication work if structural repairs are needed on site. Electrical & Automation: Troubleshoot issues in the Control Panel (PLC), VFDs (Variable Frequency Drives), and limit sensors. Ensure all motors (induction motors, vibrator motors) are running within safe amperage limits. Spare Parts Management: Maintain an inventory of critical spares (O-rings, hydraulic seals, bearings, V-belts, solenoids). Coordinate with the Plant In-Charge to order parts before stock runs out. Safety & Compliance: Ensure all machines have proper safety guards and emergency stop buttons are functional. Maintain a logbook of all maintenance activities, breakdowns, and parts replaced. Requirements & Skills: Education: Diploma or B.Tech in Mechanical/Electrical Engineering, or ITI with significant experience. Experience: Minimum 3–6 years in a manufacturing environment (experience with Hydraulic Presses or Concrete Plants is highly preferred). Technical Skills: Strong knowledge of Hydraulic Circuitry and fluid power systems. Ability to read electrical wiring diagrams and hydraulic schematics. Hands-on experience with welding (Arc/MIG) is a plus. Soft Skills: Problem-solving mindset, ability to work under pressure during breakdowns, and good communication skills. Key Performance Indicators (KPIs): Machine Uptime: Maintaining >95% machine availability. Response Time: Time taken to attend to a breakdown. MTTR (Mean Time To Repair): Average time taken to fix a failure. Job Types: Full-time, Permanent Pay: ₹10,000.00 - ₹21,000.00 per month Work Location: In person
