3D Game Artist (Generalist)

As a 3D Game Artist at Tapnplay Studio, you will be responsible for owning the entire visual pipeline, from concept to final 3D assets. Your role will involve creating stylized low-poly characters, props, and environments while maintaining consistency, clarity, and polished gameplay visuals. Your day-to-day tasks will include researching references and creating concept art with strong color composition, designing mockups for level layouts, building low-poly models with clean topology and textures, ensuring visual and color consistency, and adding basic animations for seamless mobile performance. To excel in this role, you should have a strong portfolio showcasing low-poly modeling and game assets, proficiency in 3D modeling, experience with UV mapping and texturing, a strong sense of scene composition and color theory, consistent art quality, basic 3D animation skills, and familiarity with tools like Blender, Maya, or equivalent. Additionally, bonus skills such as experience with Unity asset setup, lighting, and material adjustments, understanding of shaders and mobile performance optimization, and 2D art skills for concept sketching and UI elements will be a big plus.
