3D CAD DESIGNER - JEWELLERY

You will be responsible for creating high-quality and precise 3D CAD models of jewellery pieces based on concepts or sketches. Your role will involve developing CAD files that are suitable for manufacturing, ensuring they are CAM ready. Additionally, you will support concept development by transforming hand sketches or ideas into detailed CAD designs and collaborating with the product development team to work on new designs or refine existing ones. It will be crucial for you to assess the technical feasibility of designs, ensuring they are suitable for casting, stone setting, and finishing. You will need to optimize designs to achieve the desired metal weight, stone fit, and production feasibility. Furthermore, you will be tasked with generating photorealistic renderings for customer approval or for marketing and sales purposes. As part of your responsibilities, you will need to maintain an organized file structure, adhere to naming conventions, and implement version control. You will also be required to archive all designs and revisions systematically. Collaboration with manufacturing teams, including CAM, casting, and setting, will be essential to address technical queries and incorporate feedback into CAD modifications. To excel in this role, you should stay informed about international jewellery trends, styles, and CAD innovations. You will be expected to propose creative ideas for seasonal or custom collections based on your trend research and innovative insights.
