Job Title SAFETY OFFICER Section 1 Duties and Responsibilities ? Perform daily inspections, ensuring all required checklists are thoroughly completed and necessary requirements are in place. ? Proactively identifying hazards within the organization and identify control measures, and ensure their implementation with continuous monitoring, ? Conduct and actively participate in safety meetings and drills. ? Ensure to conduct a Daily Toolbox Talk (TBT) ? Ensure compliance of safety rules and standards both on and off the job. Serve as a role model for safety compliance by adhering to those set rules and standards by himself/ herself. ? Promptly report and investigate all accidents, incidents, and near-miss occurrences. Document and file all reported incidents for further investigation. ? Also, Stop, report, and file unsafe act/conditions, ? Enforce the use of appropriate Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) for all job tasks and activities. ? Verify the competency/ training of the employee in their respective roles. ? Act as the source of communication between the workers and the management staff. ? Ensure the development and familiarity of emergency procedures and evacuation plans at the work location. ? Be well-versed with approved health, safety, and environmental plans and ensure their compliance with this plan across the project. ? Maintain accurate records of all HSE violations and corrective actions taken. ? Ability to support in the planning process, procedures, and systems. ? Effectively implement the processes, procedures, and systems. ? Produce timely technical reports on areas of technical safety and risk assessment and provide recommendations for continuous improvement. ? Ensure compliance with Permit-to-Work (PTW) protocols and Job Safety Analysis (JSA). ? Identify training needs and conduct HSE training and develop Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) and monitor HSE performance. Note: Saudi Aramco will conduct Written Examination prior for Approval Section 2 Qualifications & Experience Qualification ? Degree/Diploma in Engineering Background (Mandatory) ? NEBOSH Certification (Mandatory) ? Valid home country LMV Driving License (Mandatory) ? IOSH/OSHA Certification (Beneficial) Experience ? Minimum 3Years of working Gulf experience in oil and gas industry.
