2D/3D Generalist

As a 2D/3D Game Artist with 3-4+ years of experience, you will play a crucial role in developing visually stunning and engaging assets for game projects. Your primary responsibilities will include: - Develop high-quality 2D and 3D game assets, such as characters, environments, props, and visual effects. - Create concept art, mood boards, and visual designs to establish the overall visual direction. - Model, texture, rig, and animate characters and environments according to project requirements. - Collaborate closely with the design and development team to ensure assets align with the creative vision. - Adapt and iterate on designs based on feedback and technical constraints for optimal performance. - Be flexible to switch between different art tasks and styles based on evolving project needs. Qualifications required for this role include: - 3-4+ years of experience in 2D/3D game art creation with a strong portfolio showcasing both 2D and 3D assets. - Proficiency in tools like Adobe Creative Suite, Blender, Maya, 3ds Max, Substance Painter, or similar software. - Strong understanding of the game art pipeline and asset optimization techniques for performance. - Ability to create visually appealing and stylistically consistent assets for different game genres. - Excellent communication skills and the ability to work collaboratively within a team environment. - Strong time management skills to handle multiple tasks efficiently in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment. - Willingness and ability to work on-site in Bangalore. If you have familiarity with Unity or Unreal Engine, understanding of basic game design principles, or prior indie game/startup experience, those would be considered as nice-to-have qualifications.
