Scrum Master & project Coordinator

Job Description

Job Overview: We are seeking a proactive and certified Scrum Master with 2 to 8 years of experience in leading Agile teams. The ideal candidate should have a strong understanding of Scrum principles , Agile best practices, and experience facilitating ceremonies and removing impediments. Candidates with CSM (Certified Scrum Master) or equivalent certifications are highly preferred. This position requires relocation to Malaysia and offers the opportunity to work with global development teams. Key Responsibilities: Facilitate daily stand-ups, sprint planning, sprint reviews, and retrospectives. Guide the team and organization on Agile/Scrum practices and values. Assist product owners with grooming and maintaining product backlogs. Shield the team from external interruptions and remove blockers to ensure smooth delivery. Track and manage sprint metrics (velocity, burndown, etc.) and ensure continuous improvement. Foster a culture of ownership, collaboration, transparency, and continuous improvement. Coordinate with cross-functional teams, stakeholders, and external vendors as needed. Required Skills: 2 to 8 years of experience working as a Scrum Master or in a similar Agile role. Certified Scrum Master (CSM) or equivalent Agile certification (e.g., PSM I). Strong understanding of Scrum, Agile principles , and the software development lifecycle. Experience in coaching Agile teams and resolving team conflicts. Strong facilitation, communication, and stakeholder management skills. Familiarity with Agile tools such as JIRA, Confluence, or Azure DevOps . Good to Have: Experience working with distributed or international teams. Knowledge of Scaled Agile Framework (SAFe) or other Agile methodologies. Background in software development or QA is an added advantage. Exposure to project management tools and reporting dashboards. Qualifications: Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, IT, Business, or a related field. Valid CSM or PSM certification . Strong communication and leadership abilities.
