Job Description

Role & responsibilities Project Planning & Execution: Develop detailed project execution plans, schedules, and resource plans. Oversee the complete project lifecycle from mobilization to commissioning of transmission line infrastructure (132kV to 765kV). Ensure timely execution of work as per project timelines and deliverables. Team & Contractor Management: Lead multidisciplinary teams including engineers, supervisors, and external contractors. Monitor contractor performance, ensuring compliance with contractual terms, timelines, and quality standards. Technical Oversight: Supervise foundation works, tower erection, stringing, and commissioning activities. Coordinate with engineering, procurement, and construction (EPC) teams for seamless integration and delivery. Stakeholder Coordination: Liaise with clients, vendors, consultants, and statutory authorities to ensure project alignment and approvals. Prepare and present regular project status reports to senior management and stakeholders. Risk & Quality Management: Identify potential project risks and implement mitigation strategies. Ensure adherence to quality standards and HSE (Health, Safety & Environment) protocols throughout the project. Budget & Cost Control: Monitor project budgets and control costs without compromising on quality and safety. Manage billing, documentation, and cash flow related to project execution. Preferred candidate profile Required Qualifications & Experience: Bachelors / Diploma degree in Electrical Engineering or related field. 10 to 15 years of experience in transmission line project execution, with at least 3 years in a project management role. Proven track record in executing EHV and UHV transmission line projects (220kV, 400kV, 765kV). Familiarity with project management tools (Primavera, MS Project, etc.). Key Skills & Competencies: Strong project management and organizational skills. Excellent leadership and team coordination abilities. In-depth knowledge of transmission line construction techniques and safety regulations. Effective communication and negotiation skills. Ability to work under pressure and manage multiple priorities.
