Zonal Manager Warehouse Operations

Role & responsibilities

• Oversee and manage end-to-end warehouse operations across multiple locations.
• Ensure adherence to SOPs, safety standards, and compliance requirements
• Drive operational efficiency, cost control, and service level improvements
• Monitor KPIs, productivity, and inventory accuracy across all warehouses
• Lead, mentor, and develop warehouse teams and supervisors
• Coordinate with clients, transporters, and internal stakeholders for smooth operations.
• Ensure project budgets are met and P & L is positive.
• Implement process improvements and digital initiatives

Key Performance Indicators (KPIs)

Performance will be evaluated based on:

• Warehouse productivity and operational efficiency.
• Inventory accuracy and reduction in stock discrepancies.
• On-time order processing and dispatch performance.
• Operational cost control and profitability.
• Client satisfaction and service-level adherence.
• Compliance with SOPs, safety standards, and audit requirements.

Team productivity and achievement of operational targets

Preferred candidate profile

• Candidates aged below 50 years.
• Strong leadership experience in managing multiple warehouses/locations within a state.
• Thorough working knowledge of ERP systems (preferably SAP) and Advanced Excel; exposure to WMS is an added advantage.
• Proven ability in planning, budgeting, MIS reporting, and performance monitoring across locations.
• Strong knowledge of inventory control, distribution planning, and logistics optimization
• Experience in handling large teams, vendor management, and client coordination
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Fluency in English & Hindi is must.
• Any graduate, MBA/PG in Supply Chain/Logistics preferred

Minimum 810 years of experience in Warehousing/Logistics Operations (FMCG/FMCD sector), with at least 35 years in a managerial/zonal role
