About the role We are seeking a proactive and goal-oriented Sales Development Representative (SDR) to join our growing Sales team. The ideal candidate will be skilled in cold calling, Linkedin, email prospecting, scheduling appointments with key decision-makers and generating new business opportunities. We are hiring across multiple locations in India. Key Responsibilities Conduct cold calls to engage prospects and qualify potential clients. Proactively follow up on marketing leads and self-generate leads to create a robust pipeline. Identify client needs, respond to inquiries, and set up meetings with the sales team. Nurture and qualify prospects through meaningful conversations to uncover opportunities. Maintain and update CRM records for lead status, feedback, and call results. Meet and exceed monthly and quarterly targets for calls, appointments, and pipeline generation. What will put you ahead Experience: 2+ years in a similar role in SaaS sales. Proven success in cold calling (let us know your appointment setting strike rate!) Role Flexibility: Willing to work in a full-fledged Inside Sales role as leads come in. Communication: Strong verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to engage prospects. Goal-Oriented: Driven to achieve and exceed sales targets with a positive, can-do attitude. Regular at using CRM and lead generation tools. Skills and traits we look out for Excellent communication skills with a sharp eye for what different stakeholders would need. You will have daily interactions with prospects, customers, sales, marketing & product managers. The appreciation for continuous learning and development. If you like doing product demos, we like you already! You love taking initiative and are tools and technology savvy, including use of Generative AI in everyday work. You are a collaborative, cross-functional team player who connects multiple teams with your sharp knowledge of customer's needs and product strengths. How's it like working at ZEPIC?
