We're seeking data privacy professionals at multiple levels of experience to design, implement, and operationalise effective data privacy and governance frameworks for our clients while ensuring compliance with data privacy regulations and standards. This role demands a deep understanding of the DPDPA, GDPR, PDPL, ISO 27701, etc. and their implementation, along with the responsibilities of a Data Protection Officer. Role: Consultant Position: Multiple levels Mode: On-site Location: New Delhi KEY RESPONSIBILITIES: Advise clients on compliance with applicable data protection and privacy laws and standards (e.g., GDPR, Indian DPDPA, KSA PDPL, ISO 27701, ISO 27001 etc.). Conduct privacy gap assessments, DPIAs/PIAs, data mapping, RoPA, and vendor risk assessments. Design, implement, and operationalise privacy governance frameworks and embed privacy-by-design into business processes. Develop, review, and maintain privacy documentation, policies, notices, and procedures. Support clients during internal and external audits, regulatory reviews, and incident response activities. Collaborate with legal, IT, security, and business teams to implement effective privacy controls. Contribute to business development through proposal support, pre-sales discussions, and identification of new opportunities. Conduct regulatory research and contribute to internal methodologies, toolkits, and thought leadership content. Support creation of client-facing and internal content such as blogs, whitepapers, and training materials. Assist with new client onboarding, engagement planning, and smooth transition from sales to delivery. ELIGIBILITY & QUALIFICATION: Bachelor's degree in law, engineering, computer science, or a related field. Minimum 6 months of relevant work experience in data privacy implementation. Relevant professional certifications like CIPPE, CIPM, CDPO, ISO 27701 (desired). Strong understanding of DPO roles and responsibilities Proven ability to conduct audits and assessments. Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills. Strong interpersonal and communication skills. Ability to work independently as well as part of a team. Attention to detail and organizational skills.
