We are looking for a skilled WordPress Web Developer who can manage and enhance our WooCommerce-powered platform. The role requires a strong mix of custom WordPress development, plugin/theme customization, performance optimization, API integrations, and UX/UI improvements . The ideal candidate is hands-on with both frontend and backend development and can handle large-scale, high-traffic websites. Key Responsibilities Develop, customize, and maintain WordPress/WooCommerce themes and plugins. Work with PHP , Fabric.js, JavaScript, jQuery, and Web Components to build product customization tools. Integrate with third-party APIs (payment gateways, logistics providers, AI image generators, etc.). Optimize website performance for speed, scalability, and SEO . Build and manage custom reporting systems (order reports, analytics, CSV/Excel handling). Manage server-side setups and troubleshoot issues on cPanel, CentOS/AlmaLinux, CloudFront + S3 . Work on custom automation flows (newsletter system with AWS SES, SMS redirection links, customer service automation). Implement security best practices, backup strategies, and ensure site reliability. Collaborate with the design team (UI/UX) to implement clean, responsive, and conversion-focused interfaces. Required Skills & Qualifications Strong experience with WordPress & WooCommerce development . Proficiency in PHP, MySQL, JavaScript (ES6+), jQuery, AJAX, and REST APIs . Experience with Fabric.js preferred Familiarity with CloudFront, AWS S3, AWS SES and scalable file delivery/email systems. Knowledge of SEO best practices (on-page SEO, schema, performance optimizations). Experience in cPanel/Linux server environments (CentOS, AlmaLinux). Strong debugging skills (WooCommerce hooks/filters, plugin conflicts, dependency injection, etc.). 1–5 years of relevant experience in WordPress development. Degree/Diploma in Computer Science, IT, or equivalent practical experience. Nice to Have Experience with AI integrations (image generation APIs, personalization engines). Knowledge of newsletter systems & email deliverability best practices . Basic DevOps knowledge (cron jobs, caching, Nginx/Apache tuning). Exposure to scalable eCommerce systems and multi-server setups. Personal Attributes Problem solver with an ownership mindset. Ability to manage multiple projects and deliver within deadlines.
