We empower independent artists and the fan-funding community by providing a range of tools to help them manage and grow their music careers. Role Overview Yivera is seeking a Country Associate Intern based in India to support our growing operations and community engagement across the region. This role is ideal for someone passionate about music, digital media, and artist development. You will assist with day-to-day operations, including market research, data analysis, customer support, and content creation. You will also contribute to the promotion and distribution of music, coordinate with local artists and stakeholders, and support administrative and marketing activities within the Indian music ecosystem. Key Responsibilities Conduct market research on music trends, artist behaviours, and streaming patterns within the Indian market. Assist in onboarding new artists from the region. Assist in data collection, analysis, and reporting to inform marketing and partnership strategies. Quality check, Approve, Export songs from respective regions through the admin/ aggregator dashboard. Provide customer and artist support, ensuring smooth communication and follow-up. Support music promotion and distribution activities on digital platforms. Assist in coordinating local company-hosted events, workshops, or artist meetups. Create or assist in the development of content (articles, social posts, campaign materials) to boost engagement. Coordinate with artists, producers, and local music professionals for releases, campaigns, and events. Perform administrative and documentation tasks as required. Requirements Must reside in India and have access to local music networks and communities. Strong understanding of the Indian music environment, particularly in cities such as Mumbai, Chennai, Bengaluru, Goa, and Delhi. Fluency in English and at least one major local language (e.g., Hindi, Tamil, Kannada, Telugu, Bengali, or Marathi). Excellent communication and organisational skills. Interest in music technology, artist development, or the entertainment business. Ability to work independently and collaborate with cross-regional teams. Proficiency in digital tools (Google Workspace, Microsoft Office, social media platforms). Preferred Qualifications Prior experience or coursework in music business, marketing, communications, or related fields. Passion for music, creativity, and community building. Active participation or connections in the local music scene (labels, promoters, artists, or collectives). Basic understanding of social media and content promotion. Familiarity with streaming platforms (Spotify, Apple Music, YouTube Music, etc.). Previous experience in marketing, event management, or artist relations (preferred but not required).
