Job Summary We need a proactive and goal-driven Senior Civil Engineer with about 15 years of experience managing construction projects, especially high-rise and luxury residential buildings. The ideal candidate should have completed at least two major projects from start to finish (up to occupation certificate), including civil work and overseeing finishing tasks. This role involves managing construction activity from beginning of the project to the end, execution, planning and working closely with contractor, clients, and vendors to ensure everything runs smoothly. Key Responsibilities Project Management and Execution : Handle all parts of a project, from planning and scheduling to budgeting, risk management, and ensuring quality meets standards. Coordinate with internal teams and external vendors to ensure smooth project progress. Focus on quality delivery of the civil work. Should have eye for detail, and capabilities to supervise finishing work. Create clear project schedules to finish on time, within budget, and as planned. Oversee construction work, provide technical advice, and manage the site. Track project progress and adjust plans if needed to stay on track. Use tools to measure how well the project is going and meet short- and long-term goals. Work closely with engineering, procurement, and quality teams, as well as clients, advisors, and subcontractors. Ensure materials are delivered on time and meet quality standards. Make sure resources like workers and equipment are available when needed. Follow safety rules on the project site. Check technical drawings and documents to ensure they match client requirements. Provide solutions for any construction issues or changes. Technical and Documentation Support : Help get approvals for project drawings from coordinator. Keep accurate records and updated "as-built" drawings. Reporting and Leadership : Prepare weekly and monthly reports for management. Share clear project plans with clients and team members. Lead teams with strong communication and problem-solving skills. Qualifications and Skills Experience : Around 15 years of experience managing construction projects, focusing on high-rise or luxury residential buildings. Completed at least two large projects from start to finish, including civil work and finishing tasks. Technical Skills : Strong skills in planning projects, managing budgets, assessing risks, and ensuring quality. Good knowledge of construction methods, site management, and combining design with construction work. Familiar with tools for tracking project progress and managing changes. Soft Skills : Excellent communication, leadership, and teamwork skills. Proactive, focused on achieving goals, and able to quickly start and manage projects. Good at working with different teams, clients, and vendors. Education : Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering or a similar field (Master’s degree is a bonus). Project management certifications like PMP or PRINCE2 are an advantage. Preferred Attributes Experience with high-rise or luxury residential projects. Ability to handle multiple projects at once while paying attention to details. Strong problem-solving skills and a focus on results.
