This role will lead both Business Development and Sales Operations , ensuring a predictable pipeline, efficient systems, and consistent delivery of revenue targets. Success will be defined by measurable performance outcomes: revenue generation, market expansion, operational excellence, and leadership impact . Top 5 Performance Objectives (First 3–6 Months) 1) Develop and Launch a Scalable GTM & Revenue Plan Design and execute a go-to-market strategy focused on US and international tech ecosystems. Define ICPs, pricing, value propositions, and growth channels. Deliver a data-driven sales plan with quarterly revenue milestones. 2) Build a High-Performing BD & Sales Team Recruit, onboard, and develop top performers in business development and sales. Establish clear KPIs, dashboards, and performance review rhythms. Achieve >90% CRM adoption and full visibility into pipeline health. 3) Achieve Predictable Revenue Growth Deliver consistent month-over-month revenue growth aligned to targets. Maintain a qualified pipeline of 4–5× the quarterly revenue goal. Improve conversion rates by at least 25% through better qualification and sales operations. 4) Operationalise Sales Systems & Forecasting Implement sales operations infrastructure for forecasting, tracking, and reporting accuracy ≥90%. Standardise tools and processes (Apollo) for data consistency. Reduce average deal cycle time by 20% through process optimisation. 5) Expand Enterprise & Strategic Partnerships Close more enterprise or strategic deals in Tech. Develop partnerships that contribute to recurring revenue and brand credibility . Represent XTechBuzz in key startup and tech ecosystems to expand reach. Lead and mentor the BD & Sales team toward consistent performance and accountability. Oversee Sales Operations — forecasting, reporting, and process optimisation. Collaborate with Marketing and Product teams to refine GTM strategies. Use data to drive decisions on pricing, customer acquisition, and retention. Build long-term enterprise relationships and partnerships aligned with business goals. Report revenue insights and strategic recommendations directly to the CEO. Experience & Qualifications Several years of progressive experience in Business Development, Sales, or Revenue Leadership roles. Proven success in US-based startup or scale-up environments , ideally across Tech, Enterprise, SaaS, eCommerce, or Agency . Hands-on experience building and leading BD & Sales teams and Sales Operations frameworks. Track record of exceeding revenue and growth targets in B2B/enterprise contexts. Strong command of CRM and sales analytics platforms. Bachelor’s or Master’s in Business, Marketing, or related field (MBA preferred).
