A small puzzle for a big hearted technologist: co‑found Wouch with me If this feels more like the start of a story than a job post, you’re exactly the kind of person I’m hoping to meet. Scene 1: Two strangers and a nervous system Somewhere in Delhi, Myra opens a dating app and feels her stomach tighten before she even sees a single profile. Her last few experiences have left real scars – ghosting, love‑bombing, and people who wanted a thrill, not a life. She doesn’t need more swipes; she needs to feel safe enough to be honest. At the same time in Berlin, Leo is tired of feeling like a product in an infinite feed. He’s done the therapy, knows his attachment patterns, and wants depth, not drama. When they meet on Wouch one day, they don’t just see photos and one‑liners. They see each other’s pace, boundaries, communication style, and where they are in their own healing journey – all surfaced gently, with consent, and without turning their hearts into data points for an ad machine. If reading this made you think about system design, data models, and how to encode psychological safety into flows and infrastructure, keep going. ––– What Wouch is (in one breath) ––– Wouch is a psychological dating app built on attachment theory and trauma‑informed design, focused on helping people form secure, honest connections instead of endless, anxious scrolling. We use richer signals than “left or right” – still protecting user privacy and autonomy – to nudge people toward matches and conversations that are nervous‑system friendly. You won’t see our secret sauce here, but think: assessments, flows, and feedback loops that respect the human on the other side of the screen. ––– Who I am (your potential co‑founder) ––– I’m Vicky Verma, building Wouch as a founder obsessed with psychology, attachment theory, and ethical product design. For the last couple of years, I’ve been doing deep research, user interviews, and product logic work around this space while juggling consulting and exploring grants and funding options in India. I am non‑technical by role but very technical in how I think about systems, human behaviour and incentives. I am not looking for someone to “code my idea”. I am looking for a co‑architect of both product and company. ––– Who you might be ––– You are a senior full‑stack architect who has secretly been waiting for a problem that actually matters to your heart. You are comfortable with modern web/mobile stacks, cloud infrastructure, data, and ideally have curiosity about ML/AI for matching and personalization. You can design and own the technical side of a 0→1→100 product: architecture, stack choices, infrastructure, security and eventually a small, values‑aligned team. You think in terms of systems, data models and trade‑offs, but you never forget there is a fragile, hopeful person on the other side of the API. You are not shopping for a job; you are searching for a problem and a partner. Equity, ownership and long‑term skin in the game matter more to you than a big salary on day one. ––– The little maze (3 questions) ––– If you want to respond, start here instead of sending a generic “I’m interested”: Q1 – Product puzzle: Imagine Wouch has to decide whether to show Myra ten “good enough” matches tonight or wait and show her three “very high‑quality” matches over a week. How would you think about this trade‑off in terms of user psychology, data, and long‑term retention? Q2 – Systems puzzle: You have to design a first‑version architecture that keeps sensitive psychological data safe, but still lets us learn which patterns correlate with healthier relationships. In a few sentences, describe your philosophy: what do you prioritise, and what do you explicitly refuse to do? Q3 – Founder puzzle: Tell me about a time you built something hard with very few resources - technical or not. What kept you going when logic said you should probably stop? If these questions feel like a fun maze rather than a test, you’re probably my kind of co‑founder. ––– Equity, reality and scale ––– I am ready to offer meaningful equity for a true co‑founder, with a standard vesting schedule so we both stay protected and rewarded over time. In human terms: this will be intense, uncertain and sometimes exhausting – but if we get this right, we don’t just build a company; we change how millions of people experience dating and love. ––– How to step into the maze ––– Send me: 1) Your answers to the three questions above. 2) A link to something you’ve built that you are proud of (product, repo, side project, experiment). 3) A short note on how you imagine people meeting through Wouch if we get this right. DM me here on LinkedIn or email viicky@wouch.app with the subject line “Wouch Co‑Founder Maze”. If you’re an investor, funder or VC reading this and wondering “Who is crazy enough to build attachment‑aware dating from India for the world?”, I’d be happy to walk you through the maze too.
