Summary The Domain Architect, Data Management, is a technical partner within Workiva’s Data Management Practice. This role supports customers and partners through onboarding, implementation, and adoption of Workiva solutions, applying expertise in data management, integration, and automation to deliver long-term value. The Domain Architect engages directly with customers and partners, working closely with cross-functional teams to design and deliver scalable data management solutions. By combining technical and business acumen with a focus on customer outcomes, the Architect fosters strong relationships and helps organizations realize measurable value from Workiva’s platform. What You'll Do Collaborate with customers to understand their business needs, data requirements, and desired outcomes with Workiva solutions. Engage with Solution Architects and Customer Success teams to ensure a cohesive and positive customer experience throughout onboarding and implementation Analyze customer needs and recommend optimal use of Workiva's Data Management Suite to achieve accurate, efficient, and scalable solutions Work closely with consulting project delivery stakeholders to define tasks, contribute to project plans, and monitor progress Review and establish data integration workflows between various customer systems and the Workiva platform Review and develop data queries and reporting solutions that meet customer analytical and reporting requirements, including mentoring internal and external stakeholders on leading practices Support knowledge sharing sessions with customer and partner application owners to enable self-sufficiency and ongoing success. Review and create documentation for deployed customer and partner solutions, configurations, and best practices Support customer and partner success by fostering product adoption, ensuring satisfaction, and contributing to overall customer health Collaborate with Customer Success and Partner Experience teams to define expected outcomes and demonstrate the value realized by customers and partners Accurately document new and existing data management features and functionalities for internal and external reference Stay educated on the Workiva product roadmap to provide effective support and guidance to customers What You'll Need Minimum Qualifications Bachelor’s Degree in a technical field of study such as Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Information Technology, or similar 3 years of experience in customer-facing roles such as Customer Success, Solution Architecture, or Consulting Bilingual in Portuguese (Native/Executive level) Must be available to work during core business hours in the Eastern Time (ET) zone Preferred Qualifications Candidates must be able to work standard business hours in the Eastern Time Zone (ET) Experience integrating or managing Software-as-a-Service applications and enterprise systems, especially in the fields of Accounting & Finance, Audit, Risk & Compliance, or Sustainability Expertise in various data structures and schemas from regulated industries (e.g., finance, audit, compliance, sustainability, etc.) with the ability to translate complex regulatory data requirements into intuitive, software-driven workflows Prior experience with integration technologies such as Informatica, Microsoft SSIS, Boomi, Mulesoft, Workato, or similar solutions. Knowledge of API design philosophy/patterns, communication protocols (SOAP, REST, JSON, XML), and encoding Strong understanding of Data Engineering, Data Warehousing, and ETL techniques Ability to create, review, and troubleshoot queries using SQL. As a Senior Solution Consultant on the partnership-focused team, you will leverage your technical skills, presentation prowess, and subject matter expertise in the field of governance, risk, and compliance (GRC) to empower our partners to drive measurable revenue outcomes. Workiva’s strategic partners are an important and essential part of our go-to-market strategy and the Partner Solution Consulting team supports them in their presales activities, including innovation, solutioning, and demo enablement. Additionally, we advance important partner relationships through our technical mindshare. In this role, you will become a trusted advisor to partners, serving as a sounding board as partners develop the art of the possible on Workiva. You will develop repeatable materials and programs to help scale and advance partner success. This senior role requires impeccable executive presence, strong technical acumen, a desire to continue mastering Workiva’s solutions, and a leadership mindset.
