About the Opportunity: Location: Remote About the Role: We’re looking for an experienced and intuitive Video Editor who gets what makes content perform. You’ll be responsible for turning raw footage into scroll-stopping, high-retention videos for YouTube, LinkedIn, and Instagram. If you are who can bring creative direction, storytelling, and performance-driven editing to life, we want to hear from you. Key Responsibilities: Edit engaging short-form and long-form videos (primarily for social and YouTube) Add attention-grabbing motion graphics, captions, transitions, and sound design Work closely with our marketing team to understand the tone, audience, and message Cut out fluff, emphasize key moments, and bring out the “hook” in every piece Deliver polished videos on a consistent, fast turnaround timeline Implement feedback and revisions efficiently while maintaining creative integrity Stay updated on video trends, social media formats, and editing best practices You Should Have: Proven experience editing videos for social media and YouTube ( portfolio required ) A strong sense of storytelling, pacing, and what keeps people watching Ability to handle complex edits and transform basic footage into high-converting content Proficiency in Adobe Premiere Pro, After Effects, Final Cut Pro, or similar tools Creativity with titles, zooms, speed ramps, and Reel/YouTube-style effects A deep understanding of social video formats, retention tactics, and hooks The ability to self-manage and deliver high-quality work with minimal hand-holding ( Mandatory ) Strong Advantage If You Have: Have experience editing videos for coaches, consultants and online service-based business Understand YouTube SEO, Short form and video structuring for retention Ability to create custom motion graphics or animations beyond just using templates You must be able to edit in the style of Jeff Su— Clean pacing, subtle motion, smart use of B-roll, clear flow, and tight storytelling.
