Role Description This is a full-time, on-site role for a Purchase Engineer located in Vadodara, India. The Purchase Engineer will be responsible for sourcing materials, negotiating with suppliers, and ensuring the timely procurement of quality materials to meet production needs. The role involves vendor management, cost analysis, preparing purchase orders, and maintaining records. The engineer will coordinate with the production and quality teams to align procurement processes with organizational goals while ensuring compliance with standards and company policies. Qualifications Proficiency in vendor management, sourcing, and negotiation Strong knowledge of procurement processes and cost analysis Ability to create and manage purchase orders and related documentation Experience in production coordination and collaboration with quality assurance teams Excellent communication and decision-making skills Familiarity with industrial standards and certifications such as ISO, API, PED, and ATEX is preferred Bachelor's degree in Mechanical, Industrial, or related Engineering discipline Previous experience in supply chain, procurement, or relevant fields in manufacturing industries is an added advantage
