Wireless R&D Systems Engineer

As a member of the Wireless Research and Development (WRD / Systems Engineering) team at Qualcomm India Private Limited, you will have the opportunity to contribute to the innovation and development of cutting-edge technologies that drive the mobile communication revolution. Your role will involve collaborating closely with HW, SW, and test teams to deliver end-to-end solutions and play a key role in the design of new algorithms for WWAN / WiFi / BT chipsets and standards. You will be responsible for proposing implementation details, evaluating performance benefits, and analyzing system level issues across RF/HW/SW boundaries. Creativity, enthusiasm, and the ability to define the implementation of various systems blocks will be essential for success in this role. **Key Responsibilities:** - Conceptualize new algorithms for WWAN / WiFi / BT chipsets and standards - Propose implementation details and evaluate performance benefits - Analyze and diagnose system level issues across RF/HW/SW boundaries - Define the implementation of various systems blocks **Qualifications Required:** - Master's degree in Telecommunication Engineering, Information Systems, Computer Science, or related field - 4+ years of industry experience in Wireless communication, Signal processing, RF/Front-end engineering, Standards participation, Architecture Engineering, FW/DSP developer with exposure to systems algorithms, Systems Engineering, Systems Test Engineering, etc. OR - Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Information Systems, Computer Science, or related field and 4+ years of Systems Engineering or related work experience OR - PhD in Engineering, Information Systems, Computer Science, or related field and 2+ years of Systems Engineering or related work experience Qualcomm is an equal opportunity employer committed to providing accessibility and reasonable accommodations for individuals with disabilities during the application/hiring process.
