WESTERNWEAR PATTERN MASTER

Requirement: Pattern Master – Western Wear (Women’s & Men’s)

We are looking for an experienced Pattern Master for a western wear fashion brand. The candidate should be skilled in creating accurate patterns from design images/references shared on phone and have strong knowledge of fit, sizing, and grading for both women’s and men’s wear.

Key Responsibilities

• Create patterns for Women’s Western Wear:
• T-shirts
• Dresses
• Trousers
• Blazers
• Jackets
• Create patterns for Men’s Western Wear:
• T-shirts
• Shirts
• Blazers & Jackets
• Understand body measurements and develop correct size grading for different sizes.
• Convert image-based references into production-ready patterns.
• Handle pattern corrections based on fittings and sampling feedback.
• Coordinate with sampling tailors for fit and construction.

Required Skills & Knowledge

• Strong experience in women’s and men’s western wear pattern making.
• Good understanding of body measurements, fit, and grading systems.
• Excellent knowledge of garment knitwear fabrics, including:
• Single jersey
• Interlock
• Rib
• Other knitted fabrics
• Understanding of how fabric stretch, GSM, and recovery affect pattern construction.
• Ability to work independently for sampling and small-scale production.

Experience

• Minimum 3–5 years experience preferred (flexible for the right candidate).
