Key Responsibilities: Set up, operate, and monitor Horizontal Machining Center (HMC) & Harizontal Boring Machine ( HBM )machines as per job requirements. Read and interpret engineering drawings, CNC programs, and job orders to determine machining operations. Perform machine setup including tool selection, tool offsets, fixture clamping, workpiece alignment, and zero-point setting. Ensure proper cutting parameters, speeds, and feeds for efficient machining with required surface finish and accuracy. Conduct first-off inspection and make necessary corrections to achieve dimensional accuracy. Monitor machine operation, identify deviations, and take corrective action. Perform in-process inspection using precision measuring instruments (Vernier, Micrometer, Bore Gauge, Dial Gauge, Height Gauge, etc.). Maintain tools, jigs, and fixtures in good working condition.
