Keeping accurate records of sales activities, customer interactions, and deal progress using CRM software is essential. Attending industry events, conferences, and trade shows to represent the company and network with potential clients while staying up-to-date with product knowledge and industry developments is also part of your responsibilities. To qualify for this role, you should possess a Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering/Science/Business Administration/Diploma in Mechanical Engineering/Marketing or a related field and have relevant experience of 1-2 years. Proven experience in business development, sales, or a similar role, preferably in Industrial Pumps and allied capital products is preferred. Strong communication and interpersonal skills, excellent negotiation, presentation, and closing skills, self-motivation, target orientation, familiarity with CRM software, and the ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced, dynamic environment are also required. Knowledge of the Gujarat Industrial Areas and understanding of process industry trends in the region, as well as willingness to travel as required, are essential for this position. The offered salary for this position ranges from 20,000 to 30,000 per month, with the provision of a performance bonus or incentives on top of the base salary. You will be responsible for processing all incoming orders and informing customers about order receipt through order acknowledgment. Acting as the main point of contact between customers and internal departments for any post-order communication or matter. Your duties will also include sourcing and ordering necessary Engineering Materials/Parts from suppliers, negotiating prices and commercial terms, and maintaining records of purchases and important data. It will be essential to track the delivery of all purchased items to ensure timely delivery and fulfill customer delivery dates. For project orders, you will need to prepare and submit all project documentation within the given timeframe, obtain timely approval and manufacturing clearance from the customer, and submit progress reports as agreed with the customer. Internal inspections at supplier or principal works, attending witness inspections, and assisting customers in clearing inspections will also be part of your responsibilities. Additionally, you will be required to take dispatch clearance from the customer if agreed upon in the pre-order stage, check specifications, documentation, and visual quality parameters of all bought-out items, and maintain proper records for future review. Monitoring inventory levels, ensuring timely delivery of materials, and resolving disputes or handling logistics issues that may arise will also be key tasks in this role.
