Warehouse Executive

Role & Responsibilities

• Manage day-to-day godown operations, including receiving, storing, picking, packing, and dispatching goods.
• Ensure proper stock management and maintain accurate inventory records.
• Monitor inward and outward stock movements and ensure timely updating of stock registers and ERP systems.
• Coordinate with transporters, drivers, labourers, supervisors, and the accounts team for smooth operations.
• Ensure timely loading and unloading of vehicles and minimize vehicle waiting time.
• Conduct regular physical stock verification and reconcile discrepancies with system records.
• Maintain proper documentation, including delivery challans, invoices, e-way bills, and Proof of Delivery (POD).
• Ensure proper storage, handling, and safety of goods to prevent damage, loss, or pilferage.
• Manage and supervise godown staff, labourers, and housekeeping activities.
• Monitor labour productivity, attendance, and daily operational expenses.
• Ensure compliance with company policies, safety standards, and customer requirements.
• Prepare and submit daily, weekly, and monthly MIS reports related to stock, dispatch, manpower, and operational performance.
• Coordinate with clients and internal teams to resolve stock, delivery, and operational issues.
• Maintain cleanliness, discipline, and security within the godown premises.

Preferred Candidate Profile

• Graduate in any discipline; candidates with relevant experience will be preferred.
• 35 years of experience in godown, warehouse, or logistics operations.
• Knowledge of inventory management, stock reconciliation, and warehouse documentation.
• Basic computer knowledge, including MS Excel and ERP/WMS software.
• Good communication, team management, and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to manage manpower, loading/unloading activities, and daily warehouse operations independently.
• Strong focus on accuracy, discipline, safety, and timely execution of work.
