Role overview:
This role supports network infrastructure lifecycle management across global fulfillment networks. The engineer executes network builds and decommissions through automated workflows and ticketing systems for new site deployments, modifications, and infrastructure decommissioning.
Key Responsibilities:
Network Infrastructure Builds:

Execute infrastructure builds for new sites including deployments, expansions, retrofits, and relocations

Process configuration release requests within defined SLA requirements
-
Support Day 0 standardization initiatives Lifecycle Management
-
Perform workflows for site modifications and upgrades
-
Manage firmware updates, hardware refreshes, and circuit upgrades
-
Remediate network validation failures
Decommissioning Operations:
-
Execute automated decommissioning workflows for site closures
-
Coordinate inventory collection and asset recovery WAN Coordination
-
Coordinate WAN circuit installations and testing with vendors
-
Support circuit provisioning and vendor coordination Operational Support
-
Troubleshoot network connectivity issues remotely
-
Communicate blockers and escalations effectively
-
Document processes and share knowledge with team members
Required Qualifications Experience:
-
5+ years in network operations or IT infrastructure environments
Technical Skills:
-
Strong understanding of TCP/IP, routing, switching, and wireless
-
Knowledge of SD-WAN architecture and troubleshooting
-
VLAN configuration, trunking, and segmentation
-
Familiarity with BGP routing and route advertisement
-
IPSec tunnel configuration and VPN connectivity
-
Understanding of OSPF and EIGRP routing protocols
-
QoS policies and traffic prioritization
-
NAT/PAT and ACL configurations
-
Basic packet capture and remote troubleshooting
-
SNMP and network monitoring tools
-
Network Hardware Knowledge Juniper: SRX firewalls, EX switches Cisco: ASR routers, Catalyst 8000 & 9000 series, SD-WAN platforms
Professional Skills:

Experience with ticketing systems and workflow tools
