Walk-in || ICU Intensivist

1. Conduct daily ICU rounds, assess critically ill patients, monitor clinical progress, and initiate or modify treatment plans as required.
2. Conduct regular Emergency Room (ER) rounds, assess emergency patients, initiate timely treatment and stabilization, and coordinate ICU admission whenever indicated.
3. Manage ventilated and hemodynamically unstable patients, review investigations, and ensure appropriate monitoring and evidence-based treatment.
4. Coordinate with consultants, emergency doctors, nursing staff, and other departments for timely and effective patient care.
5. Ensure accurate clinical notes, treatment orders, progress records, and handover documentation for ICU and emergency patients.
6. Ensure compliance with hospital protocols, infection control practices, medication safety, and critical care standards.
7. Provide a proper handover of all critical ICU and emergency cases to the concerned treating doctor or next-duty intensivist before leaving.
8. Remain available within the hospital from 9:00 AM to 5:00 PM for ICU rounds, ER assessments, emergency interventions, and clinical decision-making.

Accountability

The ICU Intensivist shall be responsible for timely assessment, treatment, monitoring, and coordination of ICU and emergency patients during the assigned duty hours, in accordance with hospital protocols and professional scope of practice.
